Today I am going to cover module 1 blogging, it’s the third part. In this part, I’ll be going to explain about how to create a blog in Google Blogger Free in just 10 Min. I hope my previous tutorial helps you to understand blogging and on the selection of best blogging platform. Now we will understand how to create a blog in blogger free within 10 Mins.
The requirement for creating a blog in blogger:
- Google Gmail account.
- A Good internet connection with the system (Laptop or Desktop).
Yes, only 2 things are required. So before creating Google blog, its the minimum requirement that you have a Google account or a Gmail account. If you don’t have then go to gmail.com create a new account by entering your details and also verify your account through mobile number verification or email verification using on-time OTP – codes.
Now you are ready for creating a blog in Google Blogger. So let’s start:
Now you are on blogger website, in right-hand side upper corner you will see the option of “sign in”. Click here and then it will ask you for username and password, enter your Gmail ID and password here.
Now it is redirecting to your blog homepage.

If you are first time visiting blogger then it will ask you to select profile: “Google+” or “Blogger”. Blogger profile is a limited with its feature so I suggest selecting google plus profile. With Google plus, whenever you write any post it will automatically share with your Google+ page. It’s saving your sharing time and also doing your social bookmarking part.
Now after selection profile, it may ask you to fille some information & upload photos, fill the required information then it will redirect you to blogger homepage.
Now you are in blogger page. If you have already created a blog then you will see this kind of dashboard.
Or if you are new into blogger you will see the blank page with the message “Create a Blog”.
So Now go to left side and click on “New Blog” then it will ask you for blog title and URL.
Enter your blog name and URL which is available, if your URL or address is not available it will show the notification. By entering details now you have to select a default theme and click on “Create blog!” button.
Congratulation you have created the blog in blogger free.
Now it’s time to add content in blogger by creating a post in blogger, For creating the post you need to go to “Posts” which is on the left side of the browser. Click on the post and then on above you will see the option of New post and click there. It will open a text editor, where you can write about your topic, add images, videos, infographics or ppts. I hope you are seeing this kind of interface
Blogger Text Writing Features:
- Here you can see the options for customizing your text using its font style, font size – small size, medium size, large size or largest size.
- You have the option to change the style of text to make it as a heading, subheading, minor heading or normal text.
- You can make your text bold, italic or underline.
- You can also change the text color or background color.
- With Link, you can easily create a link in the text and add image or video inside the post.
- It allows you to set the number or dot based ordering system.
- You can also write your text in the Hindi language.
While posting you can create a new label, creating a new label will help you to post your content category wise. You can use the label as a category and also add a location, allow users to comment on the post.
Here is the best thing for the blogger, you can rewrite blog URL with SEO friendly URL. The right-hand side you can see “Permalink” option and customize the URL as per SEO guide.
